Founding of Planet Euphoria Records

Planet Euphoria Records was founded in Pittsburgh in 2020 with a singular mission: to revolutionize the music industry by putting artists first. Born out of frustration with the traditional label system—where artists often sacrifice ownership and creative control for exposure—Planet Euphoria was created as a sanctuary for independent talent looking to thrive on their own terms.

Our label was established by a collective of musicians, producers, and industry networkers who recognized a gap in the music world: a need for a platform that could offer artists the tools and infrastructure to become truly self-sustaining without compromising their rights. Too often, creatives are locked into contracts that strip them of their master recordings and bind them to long-term, restrictive deals. Planet Euphoria set out to break that mold.

From day one, our core philosophy has been rooted in empowerment, education, and ethical collaboration. Rather than owning an artist’s masters, Planet Euphoria Records operates on a transparent partnership model. Artists retain full ownership of their work while gaining access to a robust ecosystem of resources—including marketing, distribution, production support, business education, and financial planning services. This allows them to build sustainable careers, grow their audience, and maintain creative autonomy.
